First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan visits Aktau

AKTAU. March 4. KAZINFORM /Zhatibay Shakhanuly/ Today First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev has arrived in Mangystau region with a working visit. In accordance with the commission of the Head of the State, the main purpose of the visit is strengthening of the control over implementation of the antirecessionary program and the program on the domestic producers support, Kazinform refers to the press service of the regional Governor.
The First Deputy Premier got acquainted with the process of construction of a terminal of Aktau international airport and repair of an air-strip. The work is held on the basis of the concessional agreement and will be accomplished at the end of the first quarter of 2009. The new complex will be commissioned in May.
U.Shukeyev will visit the Caspian Machine-building Complex, the Aktau Steelworks, ?Kazatomprom? enterprise, the international commercial seaport as well. Session, devoted to the current situation in the economic sector of the region with participation of Governor of Mangystau region Krymbek Kusherbayev and heads of big industrial and extractive enterprises will be held as well.
