CEC completes foreign elections observers accreditation March 29, 12:00 a.m.
CEC member Tatyana Okhlopkova has said it today representing the last accredited 92 observers.
"The issue of accreditation of 92 foreign observers on proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan is submitted for consideration at the session. We received the applications of 6 observers from the CIS observation mission, 1 from the SCO, 79 from international organizations and 6 from foreign states. Besides, I would like to note that the term for accrediting observers from foreign states and international organizations completes on March 29, at 12 a.m.," she said.
According to her, the Commission has accredited 1052 observers. 357 people have been accredited from the OSCE/ODIHR observer mission, 425 experts from CIS observation mission, 13 observers from the SCO, 101 people from 5 international organizations and 156 people from 24 foreign states.
Besides, she noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan did not have accreditation deadline unlike the CEC and would continue to accredit observers to monitor the elections.
