1 killed, 7 hurt in three-car crash in Atyrau rgn

ATYRAU. December 21. KAZINFORM One man died, seven others were injured in a three-car crash on Aktobe-Atyrau-Astrakhan highway in Atyrau region on Friday, internal affairs department of the region reported.
A Mercedes tried to overtake a truck, but hit it and overturned. A Zhiguli driver failed to react to slowing and stopped traffic ahead and collided with a truck.
A passenger of the Mercedes died on the spot. Seven people were taken to a hospital. The truck driver was not hurt.
